Farm Boys at NCTC through Feb. 18
The New Conservatory Theatre Center continues its 12th Season with Farm Boys, directed by Dennis Lickteig, now playing through February 18.
"When John unexpectedly inherits a small farm in his hometown in central Wisconsin, he leaves New York City to reacquaint himself with the farming lifestyle," explains press notes, "But the ghosts of John's past – including a relationship he had as a teenager with the farm's original owner – cast a shadow over his current romance with his partner Kim, a native New Yorker and choreographer. Judged by a community fearful of homosexuality and pressured to sell the property by a corporation that is slowly extinguishing small farmers, John must decide where he and Kim can create a home for themselves."
Farm Boys is running now through February 18. Show times are Wednesdays – Saturdays at 8PM, and Sundays at 2PM. There is no show January 21. Previews are through January 19. There is a captioned performance on February 11 at 2PM.
The New Conservatory Theatre Center (Decker Theatre) is located at 25 Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco.

Farm Boys is written by Amy Fox and Dean Gray, adapted from the book "Farm Boys: Lives of Gay Men from the Rural Midwest" by Will Fellows. Starring Scarlett Hepworth, Brian Levy, Bradly Meña, Norman Munoz, and Matt Socha. Designed by Bruce Walters (scenery), Brian Morse (sound), John Kelly (lighting), Jeffrey LaLonde (costume), and Safiya Delaney (stage manager).
