FSPA’s Little Music School Graduates Young Pianists

Young pianists proudly shared their talents as parents, grandparents and siblings looked on during the Little Music School (LMS) graduation at the Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA) on June 22nd. Exclusive to FSPA, the Little Music School teaches children as young as eighteen months of age to play the piano.

After marching into the FSPA Recital Hall to "Pomp and Circumstance," the six and seven-year-old graduates each played a song on the piano. They then received their diplomas to great applause by the audience, before celebrating with cake.

In the Little Music School, children and instructors work together in a colorful and cheerful environment where they enjoy moving rhythmically; playing together; listening, singing and dancing; and exploring sounds and music with different instruments, in addition to playing the piano. FSPA's Little Music School teachers include Kitty Cheung-Evans, Bryan Eyberg, Priscilla Noyes-Kjorlaug, Kim Rezendes and Ida Zelman.

Little Music School graduates include Callan Harris, Mallory Hughes, Charlotte Kunz, Luke Sidwell, Zachary Simms, Trisha Tran and Nicholas Vigil of Franklin; Kyan MacLeod of Bellingham; Emily Buliung of Foxboro; Thomas Guidoboni of Medfield; Emily Steiner of Millis; Ava Allen, Degen Granese and Matthew Joy of Norfolk; Philip Harmon of Plainville; Maxwell Berman of Stow; Morgan Vasiliou of South Easton and Wyatt Greenberg of Wrentham.
