Filled with electrifying dancing, memorable music and timeless spirit, the contagious celebration of youth FOOTLOOSEarrives on Blu-ray for the first time ever and in a new Deluxe Edition DVD, both featuring more than 30 minutes of all-new special features, on September 27, 2011 from Paramount Home Entertainment. In this beloved fable about teen exuberance overcoming rigid, misplacEd Morality, Kevin Bacon lights up the screen as city-boy Ren, an outsider who finds himself in an uptight Midwestern town where dancing has been banned. The film's sensational soundtrack spawned two #1 hits: "Let's Hear It For The Boy", and, of course, Kenny Loggins' rocking anthem "Footloose", along with enduring classics such as "Dancing In The Sheets", "Holding Out For A Hero", "I'm Free (Heaven Helps The Man)" and the love theme "Almost Paradise". FOOTLOOSEalso stars John Lithgow, Dianne Wiest, Sarah Jessica Parker, Lori Singer and Chris Penn.

The FOOTLOOSE Blu-ray and Deluxe Edition DVD boast brand new bonus material including new interviews with Kevin Bacon and Sarah Jessica Parker, a tribute to Chris Penn, a costume montage and a first-ever look at Kevin Bacon's screen test. The discs also feature a commentary by Kevin Bacon and a second commentary by producer Craig Zadan and writer Dean Pitchford. In addition, the Blu-ray includes the previously released featurettes "Footloose: A Modern Musical" and "Footloose: Songs That Tell A Story".

FOOTLOOSE Blu-ray & Deluxe Edition DVD: The FOOTLOOSE Blu-ray is presented in 1080p high definition with English 6.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, French 2.0 Dolby Surround, Spanish Mono and Portuguese Mono with English, English SDH, French, Spanish and Portuguese subtitles. The Deluxe Edition DVD is presented in widescreen with English 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround EX, French 2.0 Dolby Surround and Spanish Mono with English, French and Spanish subtitles.
