ABOUT F*IT CLUB:

This one-night-only event is benefiting F*It Club: led by Executive Director Allyson Morgan and comprised of an up-and-coming group of actors, writers, directors, and producers, F*It Club is committed to providing equal opportunity for all of its members. We hope to build both a home and a community for artists to share, grow, and create.

Our film and theatre Production Company was founded with the goal to provide access and opportunity to those who have been unable to successfully navigate the "system" due to lack of funding or positioning. We say "f* it" to waiting for opportunity to knock. We are seizing opportunity and making it ours. We want to make work and we want to make it NOW.

We recently completed our first short film, "4 Dates," directed by Associate Artist Geoff Lerer and written by Associate Artist Shawn Dempewolff, which is premiering at the Zero Film Festival at 8:15pm on November 20th at Nutroaster Studios. We are also currently in pre-production for shorts and web content by Associate Artists Marc Giacomi, Darin Guerrasio, and Allyson Morgan, and "The Spring Fling," premiering in March 2011 and co-produced with Mara Kassin and MSK Productions: a collection of short plays addressing make-ups, break-ups, and everything in between by Bekah Brunstetter, Brooke Berman, Greg Keller, Ashlin Halfnight, and Anna Ziegler.
