Producer and Artistic Director Emileena Pedigo is pleased to announce the creation of The Show Goes On Productions, a new Production Company dedicated to developing new works and enriching the theatrical experience through the exploration of technical enhancements for the stage.

The Show Goes On Productions seeks to put a twist on tradition with developmental works. It emerges as a company committed to the production side of story-telling as a way to build audiences.

The Show Goes On Productions will begin its season of productions with Ghost Dancer, a gripping new political drama by Robert L. Hecker, to run November 19 through December 10, 2011 in Theater Three at The Mint Theatre, 311 West 43rd Street in New York City. Tickets for Ghost Dancer are available at www.showgoesonproductions.com. Additionally, a new Musical Reading Series introduces several original Rock musicals to the industry, culminating with Apathy, The Gen X Musical by Mickey Zetts, which Emileena has been developing for four years.

"The creation of The Show Goes On Productions has been an organic process inspired by the need to find a new model for commercial theatre," stated Emileena. "I'm particularly interested in cultivating a new way of producing that will breathe life back into Off-Broadway specifically. In addition, my background in technical theatre has always drawn me toward the more technically savvy ventures. I believe that we can allure a wider audience by provoking the senses, experimenting with perception, and challenging reality to create a complete theatrical experience. All this, of course, is only as a vehicle by which to tell a thoughtful story." She added, "The Show Goes On also has a strong rock ‘n' roll aesthetic so we'll be producing rock events and concerts as well. We are so excited to bring our unique vision and technical know-how to New York audiences."

Emileena Pedigo was managing producer of the Midtown International Theatre Festival for seven years, building the organization up to 60 shows in seven venues. In additional to general managing multiple showcases around New York City, she co-produced Oberon Theatre Ensemble's 9th and 10th seasons on Theatre Row and Six Figures Theatre Company's 14th and 15th seasons at the West End Theatre. She has production stage managed extensively Off-Broadway, opera, national tours, and regionally at length for such companies as TheatreWorks Hartford, The Lamb's Theater, Mirror Rep (NYC); Bailiwick Rep, Shattered Globe (Chicago), TheatreWorks (Palo Alto, CA), and Teatro Vision (San Jose, CA). She received a B.A. in theatre from Purdue University and completed the Foothill Theatre Conservatory in California, both with honors.

Emileena Pedigo is Founding Executive Producer and Artistic Director of The Show Goes On Productions. Assistant Producer: Evan Storey; Artistic Associate: Joshua A. Kashinsky; Marketing Director: Sarah Kate O'Haver; Administrator/Resident Choreographer: Amy Klewitz.
