Exclusive Photos: HAMILTON's Christine Allado Holds Solo Concert in Manila ImageManila, Philippines--Recently announced to play the roles of Peggy Schuyler and Maria Reynolds in the upcoming West End production of the Broadway smash "Hamilton," Christine Allado, who was recently seen in the role of Vanessa in West End's "In The Heights," graced the stage of the Maybank Performing Arts Theatre in her solo concert, titled "Songs of a Lifetime," earlier this month.

BroadwayWorld.com's (BWW) photographer Jory Rivera took exclusive photos from inside the event.

Allado said, "The concert was meant to formally introduce me to Manila theatergoers. It was structured as a narrative about my journey to this moment in time. The program consisted of musical theater classics "Miss Saigon" medley, "Think of Me," and "Bring Him Home"; contemporary songs "Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin," and "Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin"; opera arias "O Mio Babbino Caro," "Nessun Dorma," and "Quando Men Vo," and even jazz and swing numbers, among others.

Her concert was directed by Juno Oebanda; the show also featured pianist Michael Lopez and guest singers Jon Joven and Jojo Allado, Christine's dad.

She said, "Every single section in the concert was a highlight. And since they were all such of different styles, they all had different challenges. I particularly liked performing the Filipino songs and singing a duet with my dad."

At 18, Allado postponed college at the University of the Philippines to pursue a career in the performing arts abroad. She has since been part of major musical Theater Productions in London such as Tim Rice's "From Here to Eternity," David Byrne and Fatboy Slim's "Here Lies Love," and Lin-Manuel Miranda' s "In The Heights" and "Hamilton," which opens at the Victoria Palace Theatre in November 2017.

Strong-willed and determined to finish her studies, Allado took up a post-graduate program in musical theater at the Royal Academy of Music.

Between now and the opening night of "Hamilton" in London, Allado plans to record an album: "I hope to record some music soon, as well as visit New York City to see 'Hamilton' on Broadway, and perform gigs around the world as much as I can.

"I'm also looking forward to be working with Lin-Manuel Miranda in London if the rumors were true! Haha! I'm truly excited to bring this cultural phenomenon ["Hamilton"] over to the big smoke and shake up the West End's theater scene with another of Lin's masterpieces. I'm excited to be continuing on from 'In The Heights' and now into 'Hamilton'."
