Erin Wall will make her Met debut as Donna Anna in Mozart's Don Giovanni on April 13 and will also sing performances on April 16, 20, and 24. She replaces Barbara Frittoli, who will sing Donna Elvira instead of her originally scheduled role of Donna Anna. Frittoli is replacing Soile Isokoski, who has withdrawn from the four performances due to illness in her family.

Louis Langrée conducts all four performances, featuring Peter Mattei in the title role.

Erin Wall has previously performed Donna Anna with Lyric Opera of Chicago, Washington National Opera, and Minnesota Opera. Her 2008-09 engagements include Helena in Britten's A Midsummer Night's Dream for her debut at La Scala and Pamina in Die Zauberflöte for her debut with the Los Angeles Opera, as well as Konstanze in a new production of Mozart's Die Entführung... aus dem Serail with Lyric Opera of Chicago.

Barbara Frittoli sings Donna Elvira for the first time at the Met this season. Previous Met appearances include Donna Anna in the 2002-03 season, the title role of Suor Angelica in Il Trittico (part of The Met: Live in HD series in 2007), Micaëla in Carmen (debut, 1995), Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte, Luisa Miller, Mimì in La Bohème, and Desdemona in Otello. In September 2008, she was the soprano soloist in Verdi's Requiem in a performance in memory of Luciano Pavarotti given by the Met, conducted by James Levine.
