Chicago's record-breaking Wicked will welcome Erin Mackey as Glinda starting Tuesday, October 24. 

Mackey was previously with the touring production of Wicked.  In April of 2006, she joined the Chicago company, in which she currently understudies the role of Glinda and performs in the ensemble.  She replaces Stacie Morgain Lewis.

The Chicago company also stars Kristy Cates as Elphaba, Chicago's own Rondi Reed as Madame Morrible, Gene Weygandt as The Wizard and Heidi Kettenring as Nessarose; Kristoffer Cusick as Fiyero; Timothy Britten Parker as Doctor Dillamond and Adam Fleming as Boq; and Dee Roscioli as the standby for Elphaba.

The complete cast includes:  Brad Bass, Nicholas Belton, Justin Caster, Dioni Michelle Collins, Jason Davies, Delandis, Jennifer DiNoia, Jeremy Duvall, Peter C. Ermides, Steve James Ewing, Kristina Fernandez, Jacqui Graziano, Jill Hayman, Colleen Hieber, Jeremy Kocal, Kate Loprest, Vanessa McMahan, Don Richard, Rozlyn Roberson, Alexander Selma, Ryan Weiss, Dan'yelle Williamson, and Neka Zang.

The Chicago company of Wicked started performances on Friday, June 24, 2005 at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts, Oriental Theatre, where it continues its phenomenal, record-breaking engagement on an open run basis.

Based on the novel by Gregory Maguire, the show has music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and a book by Winnie Holzman.  Directed by Joe Mantello, with musical staging by Wayne CilentoWicked is currently presented in Chicago, on Broadway at the Gershwin Theatre, on a national tour, and in London at the Apollo Victoria Theatre.

Long before Dorothy drops in, two other girls meet in the land of Oz.  One, born with emerald-green skin, is smart, fiery and misunderstood.  The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular.  Wicked tells the story of their remarkable odyssey, how these two unlikely friends grow to become the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch.

Wicked is produced by Marc Platt, Universal Pictures, The Araca Group, Jon B. Platt and David Stone.

The Chicago company is now playing in an open run at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts, Oriental Theatre, 24 West Randolph Street.  The performance schedule is as follows: Tuesdays at 7:30 PM; Wednesdays at 2 & 7:30 PM; Thursdays at 7:30 PM; Fridays at 8 PM; Saturdays at 2 & 8 PM; and Sundays at 2 PM.
