Eric Idle (Spamalot) will try-out his new play "What About Dick?" a Film for Radio, with music by John Du Prez, two feature two workshop performances at the Richardo Montalban Theatre on November 10 and 11.

The all-star cast includes Billy Connolly, Tim Curry, Eric Idle, Eddie Izzard, Jane Leeves, Emily Mortimer, Tony Palermo, Jim Piddock, John Du Prez, and Tracy Ullman.

In this work-in-progress from Grammy, Tony and Drama Desk Award winning author Eric Idle, a lowbrow comedy about highbrow people, eight actors are gathered together to perform a classic radio drama What About Dick? live on stage at the original Lux Radio Theater in 1948 (now the Ricardo Montalbán.) 

There will be two try-out performances only of this work in progress, Saturday November 10 at 8PM and Sunday November 11 at 5PM, with all seats only $35.  The www.goldstarevents.com pre-sale begins Monday, October 15 at 9AM

What about Dick? has been produced by WestBeth Entertainment, which has been producing, presenting and promoting entertainment events for 30 years and is the premiere promoters of UK comedy in the United States. In Los Angeles they currently promote Eddie Izzard's Coronet Theatre performances and presented Billy Connolly at The Brentwood Theatre.

The Ricardo Montalbán Theatre is located at 1615 Vine Street, Los Angeles.
