EdibleBrains Productions Presents Inaugural Production, EVERYBODY DIES, Opens 6/11
By: Reynard Loki
Inspired by a short story by Chuck Palahniuk, (author of Fight Club) as well as a generation of science fiction and B-movies. Everybody Dies takes place in a time when Charlton Heston rules and a worldwide suicide pact reaches its climax. Three youths face a decision—revolution, or die.
Everybody Dies is the inaugural theatrical production for EdibleBrains Productions and is a piece ultimately about civil liberties and at its core explores every human being’s right to life. The play is very funny and combines b-movie, dark comedy, and science fiction genres to create a show that is truly original. This is a style rarely represented on stage in addition to being creatively spearheaded by two women as well as written by a woman.Everybody Dies is being performed as part of the Planet Connections Theatre Festivity, a festival committed to producing high-quality theatre, with non-traditional casting, unique perspectives, political theatre and more! All of the productions are curated and created with the hope of inspiring cultural education and human understanding.Thursday, June 11 at 6:30pm
