EDINBURGH FESTIVAL: The Tale Of Lady Stardust

Ziggy and Gary wait patiently for the day of judgement in a dingy tower block in South London. Finally, today, there's someone at the door - could it be the angel they've been waiting for?

Following the success of 2008's The Darkling Plain, Bloody Lovely Productions return to the Fringe to tell The Tale of Lady Stardust.

Bloody Lovely Productions is an ensemble of writers, performers and directors originating from Bristol who work together with the aim of creating and performing new work.

The Tale of Lady Stardust is written by Bea Roberts and is the third of her plays to be performed at the Fringe, following 2008's The Darkling Plain and 2006's The Girl Who Cried ‘Nam. Bea's writing is gaining a reputation for combining dark, irreverent comedy with characters drawn with skill and
empathy.

Directed by Hal Chambers, whose recent work includes The Caretaker (Bolton Octagon) and whose children's show Jackajack was nominated for a Fringe Review Award and a the NSDF Edinburgh Competition, The Tale of Lady Stardust is a cautionary tale from the end of the world about a box,
a believer, a dubious angel and David Bowie. Let all the children boogie...
