ECPAT USA (End Child Prostitution & Trafficking) leads national efforts to protect children from sex trafficking and child prostitution. The organization has also worked to pass legislation in various states such as New York, Connecticut, Vermont, Illinois, Minnesota and Washington. PROJECT GIRL PERFORMANCE COLLECTIVE is a non-profit theatre collective that creates a safe space for young girls (ages 12-21) to write and perform their own work.

WHAT: ECPAT USA’s 20th Anniversary Celebration featuring a special performance, “Trafficked,” by Project Girl Performance Collective. There will be opportunities to photograph and communicate with the board members, activists, the young female performers and special guests. Guests will also be treated to hors d’oeuvres by Chef Brian of Artistic Catering Events, an open bar, gift bags by The Body Shop, Shen Yun Performance Arts & more. There will be a silent auction from our sponsors Hilton, Delta Airlines, Carlson, VeeV Aci, The Body Shop, The Krav Maga Academy and Choice Hotels.

WHEN: Wednesday, November 30th, 2011 from 6:00PM – 8:30PM
