According to DarkHorizons.com, actors Dominic Cooper and Karoline Herfurth will be co-starring in Brian DePalma's upcoming remake of Alain Corneau's 'Crime d'amour'. The reboot version of the French psychological drama will be titled PASSION. The actors will join previously announced cast members Rachel McAdams and Noomi Rapace.

The original 2010 film version featured Kristin Scott Thomas and Ludivine Sagnier. It told the story of a young assistant who is driven to murdering her boss, a cruel and sadistic business executive. The film will be set in the UK and will be a French, German, British and Spanish collaboration.

Cooper is currently filming the Albert Hughes' action film 'Motor City', co-starring Gary Oldman and Amber Heard. He can soon be seen on the big screen opposite Benjamin Walker in 'Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter', scheduled to be released in theaters on June 22nd.

The actor is best known for his lauded performance as Dakin in the critically-acclaimed play, The History Boys, which garnered him both Drama Desk and Evening Standard Award nominations. After reprising the role in the highly-praised film adaptation of The History Boys, Dominic was nominated for the "Best Newcomer Award" by the British Independent Film Awards, "Best Supporting Actor" by the London Film Critics Circle and was named one of Rolling Stone Magazine's "Breakout Performers". The actor also starred in the film adaptation of the long-running Broadway musical 'Mamma Mia'.
