Disney Channel Sweeps Key Kid Demos for 4th Straight Week

For the week of May 13, 2013, 24-hour kid-driven, family-dedicated television network Disney Channel swept core kid demos for the 4th straight week in Total Day in Kids 2-11 (2.1 rating - tie), Kids 6-11 (519,000/2.2 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (460,000/1.9 rating), marking the network's 101st consecutive week as TV #1 network in 6-11 and 9-14 measures.
Competitively, Disney Channel beat Nickelodeon by at least double digits for the 80th straight week in Kids 6-11 (+34% - 519,000 vs. 386,000) and 82nd in Tweens (+81% - 460,000 vs. 254,000).In Prime, Disney Channel extended its streak as cable TV's #1 network to 420 consecutive weeks in Kids 6-11 (866,000/3.7 rating - 8+ years) and for 155 weeks in a row in Tweens 9-14 (766,000/3.2 rating - 3 years).24-Hour Disney Junior ChannelThe 24-hour Disney Junior Channel qualified as cable TV's #1 preschool-dedicated Total Day network for the 7th consecutive week - each week since reporting public ratings - in Total Viewers (371,000), Kids 2-5 (206,000/1.3 rating) and Boys 2-5 (130,000/1.6 rating).
