'Dirty Dancing' Tickets On-Sale in Chicago April 4
Broadway In Chicago is proud to announce tickets for the U.S. premiere of the international stage hit Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story On Stage will go on-sale to the general public Friday, April 4. The National Tour of Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story On Stage will open during a limited engagement in Chicago at the Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 W. Randolph St.) with a revised performance schedule beginning September 28 through December 7, 2008.
"Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story On Stage is a coming of age love story involving the talented and headstrong dancer Johnny Castle and Frances 'Baby' Houseman. During her family's summer vacation at the popular Kellerman's resort, Baby, a doctor's daughter with dreams of joining the Peace Corps, meets Johnny, the guy from the wrong side of the tracks. Against all odds, they fall in love, learning life-changing lessons along the way," describe press notes. Featuring favorite songs like the Academy Award-winning "(I've Had) The Time Of My Life," "Hungry Eyes," "Hey Baby" and "Do You Love Me?"
Individual tickets for Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story On Stage range in price from $35 - $95 and will be available to the general public starting April 4, 2008. A limited number of premium tickets will be available ranging in price from $125 - $150. Tickets are available at Broadway In Chicago Box Offices (18 W. Monroe, 24 W. Randolph St. and 151 W. Randolph St.), through the Broadway In Chicago Ticket Line at (312) 902-1400, at all Ticketmaster ticket centers (including all Hot Tix, select Carson Pirie Scott, Coconuts and fye stores) or online at Ticketmaster.com.
