This summer, the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel will welcome David Arquette Presents: Beacher's Madhouse, a revolutionary Vaudeville-inspired theater development within the iconic property, PR Newswire reports. The five-year, projected 25 million-dollar run will be the foundation to a new chapter in theater and nightlife, elevating the standards of Los Angeles' social scene.

David Arquette Presents: Beacher's Madhouse will pioneer a resurgence of glitz and glam in the exact location where Old Hollywood boomed nearly a century ago. The completely renovated space is discretely located on the lower level of the infamous hotel, with European influences and echoes of the Folies Bergere. Guests will enter the theater through an inconspicuous passageway, hidden behind a library bookcase, and travel through a light tunnel from ordinary existence into a fantasy-filled world.

Jeff Beacher debuted the comedy variety hit Beacher's Madhouse in 2002 in NYC, holding shows at both the Supper Club on Broadway and Madison Square Garden's Paramount Theater. In 2003, Beacher's Madhouse took Las Vegas by storm as the headliner at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, selling out show after show for five years straight. Since 2008, Beacher has been on the road, most recently bringing his show on this summer's Warped and Mayhem tours.

The venue extends 2,500 square feet, featuring tiered glass stages, oversized objects, and floor-to-ceiling crystal chandeliers. The walls are embedded with a mish-mash of unique objects, such as mannequins and old pieces of furniture, bringing the setting to life on an unprecedented level. Guests can fill VIP banquettes disguised as a suspended birdcage, a giant coffin and an animated face, while little people fly across the room from the fully operating midget bar to serve cocktails.

David Arquette Presents: Beacher's Madhouse will bring back Tinsel Town's desire for live entertainment, featuring over a dozen variety acts nightly, which will push the boundaries of sexuality, entertainment, fantasy and innocence, including burlesque dancers, Go-Go girls, midget impersonators, live animals, acrobats, contortionists, and fire-breathers.

"Beacher's Madhouse will be the hottest, sexiest, most entertaining show, that feels like the greatest party anyone in Los Angeles has ever been to. I'm thrilled to be in partnership with David Arquette, and to be bringing the Madhouse to The legendary Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel!" explains show creator, Jeff Beacher.

Arquette has been a long time fan of the show and jumped to be part of this new incarnation at the Roosevelt. He brings to the show his unique comic sensibility stemming from a long family history of acting, comedy and vaudeville. He says, "Since before I can remember, putting on an extravaganza like Beacher's Madhouse has been a dream of mine. Now that I have met the creative and gifted Jeff Beacher, this dream is about to become a wild mind-blowing reality at the Roosevelt Hotel in glamorous Hollywood, California."

In a city that has seen the full spectrum of live entertainment, it is both Arquette's and Beacher's goal to recapture the historic vigor of old. There is no better locale for this homage to theater than the Hollywood Roosevelt, which has welcomed generations of industry giants, tracing back to the likes of Errol Flynn, Charlie Chaplin, Clark Gable, and Marilyn Monroe.

"The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel has a longstanding history with nightlife and entertainment," states Thompson Hotels cofounder, Jason Pomeranc. "We are excited to welcome Beacher's Madhouse. This innovative cabaret concept is sure to enhance the burgeoning creative scene in Hollywood."

Slated to open in Fall 2010, Beacher's Madhouse will be permanently located within the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel at 7000 Hollywood Blvd, hosting shows Wednesday through Saturday 10pm-2am.
