Grace United Methodist Church presents pianist David Buddin (voted best New York composer 2012 by the Village Voice) performing the New York premier of Karlheinz Stockhausen's Natural Durations 1-12.
The concert will be held on Sunday, December 2 at 4pm, free admission. This is the first half of Karlheinz Stockhausen's vast meditation on piano sonority. One of Stockhausen's last pieces, it is the third "hour" of his 'Klang' cycle, derived from a single twenty-four-note set ran through a myriad of permutations and transformations.
