Conceived by Shane Scheel and Chris Bratten, the For The Record series has celebrated the work of Tarantino, John Hughes, Baz Luhrmann and The Coen Brothers. Show At Barre is the permanent Hollywood home for the series. The duo has teamed with The Ace Hotel and will debut the series at their Palm Springs property in the summer of 2011. For The Record: Tarantino will make its theatrical debut during the 2012 SXSW festival in Austin, TX.

Born and raised in New York City, Barrett attended The Dalton School, Interlochen Arts Academy and received his BFA in Musical Theatre from The
University of Michigan.
Tracie Thoms has had wide-ranging success in film, television and theatre throughout her career. In 2008 she starred as 'Joanne' in the final weeks of the Broadway musical, RENT. Previously, she played the same role in the film of "RENT" opposite
Rosario Dawson,
Taye Diggs and Jesse Martin. In 2007, she starred opposite Kurt Russell in
Quentin Tarantino's "Grindhouse: Death Proof." She was also featured opposite
Meryl Streep and
Anne Hathaway in "The Devil Wears Prada". Tracie starred on Broadway opposite
Alfre Woodard in
ReGina Taylor's "Drowning Crow." Tracie was a series regular on the longrunning CBS series, "Cold Case." She also starred on the Fox series, "Wonderfalls" and UPN's "As If". Tracie received a bachelor of fine arts degree from Howard University and a graduate degree in acting at the Juilliard School.
Darren Ritchie comes directly from starring in the new Broadway musical Wonderland as the White Knight/Jack. Rogelio Douglas, Jr. is a recent LA transplant from Brooklyn, NY. He is an original Broadway cast member of the Tony and Grammy Award-winning Best Musical "In The Heights" he recently finished the 1st National Tour of In The Heights playing the role of Benny. He was last seen on Broadway in the role of Sebastian the Crab in Disney's "The Little Mermaid". Rogelio has appeared as a lead tap dancer in "Riverdance - The Show" on Broadway, World/National tours and the Film "Riverdance Live from Geneva." Other credits include

Jessica
KeeNan Wynn originated the role of Lois in the award-winning, smash hit musical, Life Could Be A Dream (LADCC Awards, LA Weekly Award, Garland Awards, Ovation-nominated), written and directed by
Roger Bean, the creator of the successful Off-Broadway production, The Marvelous Wonderettes. She was most recently seen in Dream this summer at the
Laguna Playhouse with the original cast of dreamy boys. She has done multiple workshops for new Disney musicals, including Villains Tonight, written by [title of show] creators
Hunter Bell and
Jeff Bowen, and most recently When You Wish, under the direction of
Gordon Greenberg. Jessica is a recent graduate of UCLA's prestigious
Ray Bolger Musical Theatre Program. Other credits: Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes.
