Daniel Radcliffe, Jon Hamm Re-Up for YOUNG DOCTOR'S NOTEBOOK

Deadline reports that actors Jon Hamm and Daniel Radcliffe will team up once again on the hit UK series A YOUNG DOCTOR'S NOTEBOOK & OTHER STORIES. The mini-series from Big Talk Productions, will air later this year on the UK's Sky Arts network.

Based on the real life writings of Mikhail Bulgakov, the series follows Bulgakov's own experiences working as a provincial doctor at the dawn of the Russian Revolution in 1917. Radcliffe plays the younger version of Russian medic Dr Vladimir Bomgard, who has comic exchanges with his older self, portrayed by Hamm.

The first four-part series originally aired in December 2012 and became the most successful program in the history of the network. Ovation is scheduled to air Part One of the series the U.S. this fall.

Radcliffe is best known for playing the title role in the 'Harry Potter' film franchise. He made his Broadway debut, to much acclaim, in EQUUS and made his Broadway musical debut as J. Pierrepont Finch in the recent revival of the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING.??He will next appear on the big screen in the upcoming Kill Your Darlings, starring as the poet Allen Ginsberg.
