Dance It Out With Jump Back Ball- ROCKIN UNDER THE SEA

PlayhouseSquare Partners announce Cleveland's party of the year, the 18th Annual Jump Back Ball (JBB), Rockin' Under the Sea. This unforgettable night on the town will be Saturday, February 28th, 2009 from 7:30 p.m. to 1 a.m at PlayhouseSquare in the State Theatre on Euclid Avenue. (VIP Party begins one-hour prior to the event at 6:30 p.m.)

LEAVE YOUR FLOATATION DEVICES AT HOME... Buy your tickets today to Jump Back Ball, Rockin' Under the Sea - one of the "hottest" annual events in town. After years of sell-out crowds, PlayhouseSquare Partners continue to strive in creating an atmosphere that takes the idea of a benefit to the next level or this year, below sea level. Among the 400 strong Partners membership roster, you'll find the who's who among Northeast Ohio civic and business leaders. It's a MUST be seen at event; guests come early and leave late - there is no other celebration like it!

Each year Jump Back Ball offers more excitement & fun... This year, the JBB deep blue sea includes activities, a lavish dinner and dancing for all mermaids & mermen alike. Live entertainment begins with a steel drum band at the VIP pre-party and performing on the main stage are local favorites, Shucking Bubba Deluxe, and Second Place. Plus, games and gambling, raffles, silent auction and more!

Come dressed in your best fins / creative costume or your finest Black Tie. This night will be full of surprises and guaranteed fun that you will not want to miss. Dive into Cleveland's biggest party of the year!

All proceeds benefit the mission of PlayhouseSquare, a not-for-profit performing arts center whose mission is presenting and producing a wide variety of quality performing arts, advancing arts education and creating a destination that is a superior location for entertainment, business and housing, thereby strengthening the vitality of the region.

PlayhouseSquare Partners History
In September of 1991, nine enthusiastic individuals launched a volunteer organization designed to benefit PlayhouseSquare and its historic theaters. This archetype group quickly flourished and grew into the now nearly 400 supporting member PlayhouseSquare Partners.

Fundraising through progressive thinking and dynamic charisma, Partners contribute annually to PlayhouseSquare operating fund. Partners also contribute the Bus Subsidy Fund for Northeast Ohio school children though special events income.

The goal and priMary Focus of PlayhouseSquare Partners is to promote and encourage the awareness, education and participation, both as volunteers and patrons, of Cleveland's community of young professionals in PlayhouseSquare, its theaters and events.
