By:

The Dad's Garage Going Out of Business Show! It's a laugh liquidation sale! It's the comedy clearance on the century!

Friday, October 2nd at 8pm marks the opening of our "everything must go sketch show," The Dad's Garage Going Out of Business Show. According to the show's Director and Dad's Interim Producer Scott Warren, "Not only does this show kick off our 15th Season with a massive collaboration from over 20 artists in the Dad's Garage family, but it's the best money you'll ever spend that you'll never get back!"

Okay, okay, we admit - the state of the economy is no laughing matter. With all of the talk about foreclosures, layoffs, and the upcoming class war - it's hard to feel good about the current recession unless there are massive discounts involved!!! We've got video, we've got song, we've got dance - we've got the inside scoop on Stephen Hawking's summer job. So, stock up now on a variety of hilarious bits and skits about the present hard times because when they're gone, they're gone.

***Disclaimer: Dad's Garage is not actually going out of business

About Dad's Garage Theatre Company:
Founded in 1995, Dad's Garage Theatre Company has grown from a small volunteer led organization to a thriving mid-size theatre led by professional artistic and administrative staff that includes over 300 volunteers and performers. We now entertain more than 30,000 people each year at our two-theatre facility in Inman Park, public events across the state, and at improv festivals across the continent. In addition to outrageous original productions, Dad's Garage produces improv shows 52 weeks per year, educates young improvisers in a year-round high school outreach program, and facilitates onsite classes and workshops for the general public. Dad's Garage is committed to elevating the awareness of the arts in the Atlanta community through the production of original theatrical works, education, and the creative outlets found through improvisation.
The theatre includes a 120-seat Main Stage space and a 50-seat black box space (the Top Shelf).
