Cynthia Nixon Comes To The Zipper With 'Creation Nation'

By:

Creation Nation proudly returns with its first New York City show in almost a year. Hosts Billy Willing and Robin Lord (as played by creators Billy Eichner and Robin Taylor, respectively) will welcome Tony and Emmy Award winning stage, screen and television actress Cynthia Nixon (Sex and the City) to their unique and critically acclaimed variety show, which plays The Zipper Factory Theater on Tuesday, April 8 at 8:00 p.m.

Creation Nation: A Live Talk Show
is a unique comedy event - a variety show with comedy sketches, stand-up, original musical numbers, filmed segments and live interviews with celebrity guests.

Hosts Billy Willing and Robin Lord (as played by creators Billy Eichner and Robin Taylor, respectively) recently made their West Coast debut with four sold out Creation Nation shows in L.A., and also performed in Miami as part of Comedy Central's South Beach Comedy Festival in January '08 (appearing alongside Kathy Griffin, Louis Ck, Susie Essman and others).  Billy also recently wrote and starred in Bravo's first-ever scripted webseries "My Life on the Z List: Jen's Vlog" and has a cameo in the upcoming film What Happens in Vegas, opposite Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher.

Creation Nation is written by Billy Eichner and directed by Benjamin Salka.  It  features musical director Eli Bolin at the keyboard, Lee Overtree on drums and Lucas Papaelias on guitar.  The show has choreography by Jennifer Loryn and Production Design by Richard Dibella.
