Creative Mind Entertainment & OBC DreamTheatre in association with Randolph Sturrup and Mike Muse proudly present UNSPEAKABLE: a dramatic fantasia. Explosive, underground actor and award winning filmmaker join forces to explore the tragic genius of comedian Richard Pryor.
This invitation-only developmental industry showcase will be presented at HERE on Nov. 1st thru Nov. 4th in Manhattan.
Co-Author & Director, Rod Gailes OBC brings a cinematic vision to the provocative odyssey of Richard Pryor with an ensemble approach highlighting the comedian's journey from damaged child to comic legend.
Sex, Drugs, Comedy and Pain. Unspeakable is an unflinching ride through the emotional landscape of comedic legend, Richard Pryor. Experience his rise to super stardom in the shadow of Bill Cosby and his blazingly self-destructive love affair with cocaine and....Jessica.
This showcase presentation features a dynamic cast (Regge Allan Bruce, Adam Couperthwaite, Nedra McClyde, Dominique Morisseau, Benja K. Thomas, and Margot White) anchored by James Murray Jackson, Jr., the play's co-author & star who received an Outstanding Actor Award for his portrayal of Richard Pryor at the 2005 New York International Fringe Festival.
HERE is located in Manhattan at 145 Sixth Avenue (Enter on Dominick St. one block south of Spring St.) Performance times are Tue - 11/1, Wed -11/2, Fri - 11/4 @ 6pm and Thurs - 11/3 @11am.
