Craig Stevens’ Christmas Pageant to Feature Cassara, Brightman, and Snow
Casting director, Michael Cassara, and actors Alex Brightman (Wicked), and Jason Michael Snow(Book of Mormon, South Pacific), are set to appear in Craig Stevens Christmas Pageant on December 22nd, at 7pm, at the Laurie Beechman Theater.
Conceived by and starring Kevin Michael Murphy(If It Only Even Runs A Minute, TheVillage Gate's Old Fashioned Piano Party), and co-written by Lauren Marcus(ReWrite:The Songs of Joe Iconis), and Lauren Conlin Adams(The Ride), this show is a followup to "Craig Stevens Guide to Making it On Broadway," which played the Beechman in2009.
Some original music for the show was written by Rob Hartmann(Vanishing Point), andthe evening is musical directed by Molly Gachignard, and choreographed by JohnO'Malley(DCL's "Villians Tonight!)Meet Craig Stevens: he's fierce and collects show posters.
Meet his "girlfriend," Janine:she recently came back from Scotland where she studied Shakespeare and Brigadoon.Recent graduates of Virginia's prestigious Tidewater Community College, these lovebirds have moved up to the city in hopes of making it on Broadway.
Hailed as "the mostclueless boy in New York" by Gawker.com, Craig and Janine are coming to you live,teaching you and some Broadway guest stars how to celebrate the holidays properly,here in the city of New York City!A mix of improv, sketch comedy, singing, and dancing, this show is guaranteed to getyou in the holiday spirit!Donations of canned goods are being collected for City Harvest.
