Cory Monteith's Final Film to Play at Toronto International Film Festival

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cory Monteith's final film ALL THE WRONG REASONS, from director Gia Milani, will play at this year's Toronto International Film Festival. The film also features Karine Vanasse, Emily Hampshire, and Kevin Zegers.

The GLEE star died on Saturday, July 13 at the age of 31 due to an accidental drug overdose. In the film he portrays James, a store manager. The ensemble piece follows four co-workers in a big box department store. Kate (Vanasse) is James' wife stubborn and isolated wife, Nicole (Hampshire) is a cashier and single mother trying to hold on to her youth, and Zegers plays a temp employee who shakes up the store dynamic.

Pacific Northwest Pictures will release the film in Canada this year, followed by a domestic pay TV run on The Movie Network and Movie Central in 2014.

Monteith recently starred in the film Monte Carlo, opposite Leighton Meester, Selena Gomez and Katie Cassidy. His other film credits include FINAL DESTINATION 3, THE INVISIBLE, DECK THE HALLS, and WHISPER.

In addition to GLEE, his television credits include a lead role on the series "Kaya" and a recurring guest-star role on KYLE XY. He has also made numerous guest appearances on television shows, including SMALLVILLE, SUPERNATURAL, STARGATE, FLASH GORDON, and INTERNS. Additionally, he starred in the 2007 television movie HYBRID.
