Corporal Burt Richards to be Honored at Community Courage Awards Luncheon 6/22
Corporal Burt Richards, member of Actor Equity and Screen Actors Guild for 40 years, has been selected from hundred of submissions from Glades, Hendry, Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee, Palm Beach and St. Lucie Counties, to receive an award at the 10th Annual Community Courage Awards Luncheon in the Education category. The Awards Luncheon will be held Wednesday, June 22 at 11:30 a.m. at the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach.
This event is like no other our chapter produces--one that ties directly to our mission of saving lives and helping others in need. Individuals in 10 categories are honored including: Fire Rescue, Law Enforcement, Medical, Good Samaritan Adult, Good Samaritan Youth, Animal Rescue, Educator, Marine Rescue, Military and Special Recognition Honoree. The event gains extensive media coverage with producing sponsor WPBF News Channel 25, The Palm Beach Post and WRMF.
