Cornish Theater and Performance Presents THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD, 4/10-14

By:

Cornish Theater and Performance Production departments, present The Mystery of Edwin Drood at Intiman Playhouse. Join the denizens of London's Music Hall Royale, as they perform Charles Dickens' unfinished novel, The Mystery of Edwin Drood. The audience is invited to solve the mystery themselves by choosing one of several ingenious resolutions. The only Broadway show in which the audience decides the ending, Drood won five Tony awards in 1986, including Best Score, Best Book and Best Musical.

The Mystery of Edwin Drood is the first production that Cornish has mounted at Seattle Center. "We are thrilled to produce this year's musical in the Intiman Playhouse at Seattle Center," said Cornish President Nancy J. Uscher. "It is an extraordinary facility for our students, in both our theater and performance production departments. We are also very excited to include the work of our visual arts students in the lobby, as well. We hope that this production will help introduce many new audience members to the talents of our students at Cornish College of the Arts."
