'JERSEY BOYS' Hits D.C.'s National Theatre - 12/12/2009

Dates have been announced for the Washington, D.C., engagement of JERSEY BOYS, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, playing the National Theatre. The musical will make its D.C. premiere on October 1, 2009, and play through December 12.

Real-Life Married Couple

Real-life married couple Paige Davis and Patrick Page will star in a special engagement of I Do! I Do!, the classic Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt musical based on The Fourposter by Jan De Hartog, in The Old Globe's new Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre. The well-loved classic, by the creators of The Fantasticks, spans five decades in the life of a married couple - from the nervousness of their wedding day to the wisdom of old age. I Do! I Do! will run Dec. 11 - 20, 2009. Previews take place on Dec. 11 at 8:00 p.m. and Dec. 12 at 2:00 p.m. Opening night is Saturday, Dec. 12 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are currently on sale to subscribers only. Antoinette LaVecchia's HOW TO BE A GOOD ITALIAN DAUGHTER Ends Run - 12/12/2009

HOW TO BE A GOOD ITALIAN DAUGHTER, a play written and performed by Antoinette LaVecchia, will begin its recently-announced 8-week extension Off-Broadway on Thursday, October 29 at 7p.m. at the Cherry Lane Studio Theatre in Manhattan. The production is now scheduled to play through December 9, 2009.

Christoph von Dohnányi will conduct the New York Philharmonic in Mozart’s Sinfonia concertante for Violin and Viola, performed by Concertmaster Glenn Dicterow and Principal Viola Cynthia Phelps; and Bruckner’s Symphony No. 4, Thursday, December 10, at 7:30 p.m., Friday, December 11, at 8:00 p.m., and Saturday, December 12, 2009, at 8:00 p.m.
