HOW TO BE A NEW YORKER, the new Off-Broadway comedy written and performed by Margaret Copeland and Kevin James Doyle, is the newest participant in the bi-annual Off Broadway Alliance 20at20 promotion. $20 tickets (which include lunch) will be available at all performances through September 22nd only at Sofia's Downstairs Theater in the heart of Times Square.

Idaho Filmmaker Gregory Bayne Hosts Fundraiser for His Film BLOODSWORTH: AN INNOCENT MAN - 9/22/2012

Idaho filmmaker Gregory Bayne, in partnership with the ACLU of Idaho, and Boise Contemporary Theater, presents a fundraising event for the continued production of BLOODSWORTH: An Innocent Man, a feature documentary about Kirk Noble Bloodsworth, the first death row inmate in the US to be exonerated by DNA evidence. The event takes place on Saturday, September 22 at 7pm at Boise Contemporary Theater, 854 Fulton St, in downtown Boise.

Washington National Opera Welcomes

Washington National Opera (WNO) presents American baritone Nathan Gunn in concert as part of its Celebrity Series on Sunday, September 23 at 4 p.m. in the Kennedy Center Opera House. Accompanied by the WNO Orchestra under the baton of Tony Award winner Ted Sperling, Gunn will perform selections from operas by Mozart, Rossini, and Bizet, plus songs by Sondheim and other Broadway composers. American tenor William Burden will join him for a few duets. All three artists will make their WNO debuts with this performance.
