UNCLE VANYA Closes at the Lincoln Center - 7/28/2012

Sydney Theatre Company's (STC) acclaimed production of Uncle Vanya by Anton Chekhov, adapted by Andrew Upton and directed by Tamas Ascher (whose staging of Ivanov for Katona Jozsef Theatre was critically acclaimed at Lincoln Center Festival 2009), will be a highlight of the Lincoln Center Festival this Summer.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival Presents PRISON DANCER, 6/20 - 7/28 - 7/28/2012

THE NEW YORK MUSICAL THEATRE FESTIVAL (NYMF) and PRISON DANCER LIVE, LLC. is pleased to announce Romeo Candido and Carmen De Jesus' PRISON DANCER, music supervised by Alexander Rovang, and directed by Jenn Rapp. PRISON DANCER will play a limited engagement at Off-Broadway's Theatre at St. Clement's (423 West 46th Street, New York, NY 10036). Performances begin Friday, Jul 20th, 2012 at 8:00 pm and continue through Saturday, Jul 28th, 2012 at 9:00 pm. Press are invited Sunday, Jul 22nd, 2012 at 3:00 pm and any subsequent performance.

Dorset Opera Festival Closes with

The Dorset Opera Festival expands its programme to three productions this year. Its annual festival again features an international line-up of opera stars in the stately surroundings of Bryanston's glorious 400 acres near Blandford Forum in the heart of Dorset.

As part of the annual New York Musical Theatre Festival, the Paley Center is pleased to honor the three-time Tony Award-winning lyricist Sheldon Harnick—who collaborated with composer Jerry Bock on landmark musicals including the Pulitzer Prize winner Fiorello!, Fiddler on the Roof, and The Rothschilds.

FOREVERMAN Closes at NYMF - 7/28/2012

The new musical Foreverman, with book, music, and lyrics by Brett M. Boles, will be presented as an official selection of the New York Musical Theatre Festival's (NYMF's) 2012 Next Link Project, beginning performances Friday, July 20 and running through Sunday, July 28, at the PTC Performance Space, 555 West 42 Street (between Tenth and Eleventh Avenues).
