The Amoralists's THE BAD AND THE BETTER Directed by

The Amoralists have announced the World Premiere of The Bad and the Better, written by Derek Ahonen, directed by Obie Award winner Daniel Aukin and featuring The Amoralists acting ensemble. The acclaimed downtown theater company moves uptown for a 6-week Off-Broadway run from June 14 – July 21, 2012 at The Peter Jay Sharp Theater, located at 416 West 42 Street between 9 and 10 Avenues in New York City. Previews begin June 14 for a June 19 opening.

UNCLE VANYA Opens at the Lincoln Center - 7/21/2012

Sydney Theatre Company's (STC) acclaimed production of Uncle Vanya by Anton Chekhov, adapted by Andrew Upton and directed by Tamas Ascher (whose staging of Ivanov for Katona Jozsef Theatre was critically acclaimed at Lincoln Center Festival 2009), will be a highlight of the Lincoln Center Festival this Summer.

Hallmark Channel Original Movie HOW TO FALL IN LOVE Premieres - 7/21/2012

Hallmark Channel has moved the World Premiere of 'HOW TO FALL IN LOVE' to Saturday, July 21 and moved the time to @ 9pm ET/PT, 8C. The Hallmark Channel Original Movie stars Eric Mabius, Brooke D'Orsay and Kathy Najimy.

OUTFEST: 30th Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Film Festival Ends Today - 7/22/2012

Outfest – the Los Angeles-based nonprofit organization dedicated to nurturing, showcasing and protecting lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) media – announced today that Jeffrey Schwarz's documentary "Vito" has been selected as the Opening Night gala of the 30th Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Film Festival. "Vito" chronicles the story of Vito Russo, founding father of the gay liberation movement, author of "The Celluloid Closet," and vociferous AIDS activist in the 1980s. The film features Lily Tomlin, Armistead Maupin, Bruce Vilanch, Richard Berkowitz and Larry Kramer.

BABY CASE Closes at NYMF - 7/22/2012

Right from the Broadway production of Godspell, Hannah Elless joins the cast of Michael Ogborn's award winning musical Baby Case, playing the role of Adela St. John. Baby Case is directed by Jeremy Dobrish and produced by Charlie Fink, Michael Ogborn, Robert Soslow, Juliana Schauerman, Dorothy Flynn, Caroline Castagno, Glenn Gunderson, Kathy Lou Leone, Diane Santillo, and Anne Makara. Baby Case will play from July 16 – 22, 2012, at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 W 42 St). Baby Case is presented by The New York Musical Theatre Festival.
