Red Bull Theater Presents Workshop of THE AENEID - 2/11/2012

The Red Bull Theater presents an "In the Raw" workshop of THE AENEID, by Oliver Kemeid, a powerful new play inspired by Virgil that transports Aeneas’s search for a homeland into the modern world of middle-eastern revolution. THE AENEID will play at the St. Clements Theater for three performances on Feb. 11 and 12.

American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) begins performances of the world premiere production of Wild Swans, the first stage version of Jung Chang’s astonishing personal memoir, in a majorinternational collaboration with the Young Vic and Actors Touring Company.

SD Musical Theatre Opens THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES - 2/11/2012

San Diego Musical Theatre has announced that after producing its critically-acclaimed productions at the Lyceum Theatre in downtown San Diego for the past several seasons, they will be moving into their new home (where their first production of The Full Monty began!), the Birch North Park Theatre, to present the first production of its new 2012 season of shows, THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES, created and directed by Roger Bean, with musical direction by Don LeMaster.

Dixon to Play 'Collins' in RENT Through February - 2/12/2012

Brandon Victor Dixon joins the cast of Rent in the role of Tom Collins beginning Thursday, December 1, and playing through February 12, 2012. Mr. Dixon takes over from Nicholas Christopher who is on medical leave and who will return to the show in February.
