Ethan Lipton's new play Red-Handed Otter will be given its world premiere by Playwrights Realm www.playwrightsrealm.org, Katherine Kovner, Artistic Director and Renee Blinkwolt, Producing Director, when it begins previews at the Cherry Lane Theatre, 38 Commerce Street, Wednesday, September 12, at 7:00pm for an opening Thursday, September 20, at 7:00pm.

Washington National Opera Closes ANNA BOLENA - 10/6/2012

Washington National Opera (WNO) opens its 2012-2013 season with Gaetano Donizetti's Anna Bolena, September 15 to October 6 in the Kennedy Center Opera House. Celebrated American soprano Sondra Radvanovsky returns to WNO to make her role debut as Anne Boleyn. This striking production, new to Washington, is directed by Stephen Lawless, and the WNO Orchestra will be led by Italian conductor Antonello Allemandi in his WNO debut.

ROUTE 30, TOO! Cast and Filmmakers to Appear at World Premiere in Gettysburg - 10/6/2012

John Putch's locally shot follow up film to ROUTE 30, entitled ROUTE 30, TOO! will have its world premiere September 8th and 9th at Chambersburg's Historic Capitol Theater, 159 S. Main St. Chambersburg, Penn., followed by an October 6th Premiere in Gettysburg at the Majestic Theatre. Putch and some of his cast and crew will be in Chambersburg for the premiere to participate in an audience Q&A after the screenings.

FANNIE LOU Sells Out Premiere Matinee - 10/6/2012

There are no big-name stars. No large-scale production number. And there's only a shoestring budget. But with a sold-out first show more than a month before opening, the historically based Off-Broadway musical Fannie Lou is shaping up to become one of the hottest tickets in town.
