BCP's LOVE LETTERS to Star

Bucks County Playhouse has announced a special two day engagement of A.R. Gurney's Love Letters, starring theatre, television and film legends Tyne Daly and James Earl Jones. Love Letters will be performed on Saturday, October 20th at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, October 21st at 2:00 p.m. at the Bucks County Playhouse (70 South Main Street). Following the Saturday evening performance, there will be a benefit reception underwritten by The Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm (barleysheaf.com) to honor the cast and raise money for The Playhouse.

COMMENTARY, the latest feature film by writer/director Aaron Mark (Patti Issues), which features an ensemble of Broadway veterans, will be screened Saturday, October 20th at 4:15 PM at the Producers Club (358 West 44th St. between 8th and 9th) as part of the third annual NYC Independent Film Festival. Mutant Olive takes the headliner spot on Saturday, October 20th at 9pm at the United Solo Theatre Festival.

BULLET FOR ADOLF Extends at New World Stages Through 10/21 - 10/21/2012

Bullet for Adolf, the new comedy by Woody Harrelson and Frankie Hyman, has extended its run at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street). Originally scheduled to play its final performance on Sunday, September 9, the production will now play through Sunday, October 21.

Red Barn

The New York premiere of Owen Dunne's new play POSITIONS will be presented Off-Broadway this fall from October 10-21 at Roy Arias Studio Theatre (300 W. 43 St.) in Manhattan. With previews set for October 10 and a press opening scheduled for October 11, POSITIONS is presented by Steve Bakunas, Linda Lavin and The Red Barn Studio Theatre, where POSITIONS received its world-premiere this spring.
