Children's Theatre Holds Auditions for Tarradiddle Players

Children's Theatre of Charlotte will hold auditions for the Tarradiddle Players, the Theatre's Resident Touring Company, on Sunday, May 22 beginning at 2:00 pm. All auditions are by appointment only and will be held at ImaginOn, 300 East Seventh Street. Please call 704-973-2808 or email steveni@ctcharlotte.org for an audition appointment.
Interested candidates should prepare a monologue from a children's book or play for young audiences.Tarradiddle Players, the professional Resident Touring Company of Children's Theatre of Charlotte, spreads the joy of live theatre across the Southeast. In addition to appearances at the Theatre's ImaginOn home, this four-person troupe performs in schools, community centers and towns big and small for audiences who might otherwise never see a live play.Positions available include a regular, full-time commitment for 11.5 months which includes benefits, as well as a project-based commitment for 5 months of work from October to April. Actors are compensated at a professional rate.Children's Theatre of Charlotte is supported, in part, with an Operating Grant from the Arts & Science Council, Charlotte-Mecklenburg, Inc. and the North Carolina Arts Council, a division of the Department of Cultural Resources.
