Celebration Theatre Presents LA TOOL & DIE: LIVE!

By:

Celebration Theatre announces that noted film writer/director Sean Abley, ("Socket") brings his spin on ‘70's gay porn film "LA Tool & Die" to Celebration Theatre's renowned Late Night Program. Abley's most recent theatrical endeavor in Los Angeles was the family-oriented DR. FRANKINCENSE AND THE CHRISTMAS MONSTER in Winter '09. "After all that wholesome, family fun, doing a stage version of one of the most famous gay porns of all time seemed the next logical step."
Based on the Joe Gage film of the same name, LA TOOL & DIE: LIVE! is being described as the "Airplane" of gay porn. In the way "Airplane" poked fun at "disaster movies" of the era, Sean Abley cheekily does the same with gay porn of the 70's. This show contains adult language and content, male frontal nudity and comedy in equal amounts. Viewer discretion is advised.

Joe Gage made a name for himself bringing tales of lusty masculine men having sex and "doing other masculine things with their shirts off" in the ‘70's. "Kansas City Trucking Company" was the first in the trilogy that LA TOOL & DIE completes.

Follow Hank, the masculine working man, and Wiley, the shy (but masculine) cowboy as they make their way across the Heartland to Los Angeles. Along the way they meet many hot, handsome and, dare we say it? Masculine men, whose clothes seem to fly off at the drop of a hat. This ain't your father's late night comedy show!

Heading the cast of bold, sexy and funny actors is Jon Gale as "Wiley" and Thomas Colby-Dog as "Hank". James Jaeger, Kevin Held, Michael Vaccaro, Nathaniel Mathis, Paul A. Brown and Tim Hearl round out the cast of "Gage Men" that bring this vintage porn experience to life.

LA TOOL & DIE: LIVE! is executive produced by Dark Blue Theatricals and Celebration Theatre. Co-produced by Sean Abley, Matthew Mishkoff and Celebration Theatre's Artistic Director Michael A. Shepperd and company member Parnell Damone Marcano. Celebration's Managing Director is Michael C. Kricfalusi.
