Catherine Zeta-Jones Joins Cast of RED 2

EWOnline reports that Tony Award and Academy Award winner Catherine Zeta-Jones will join the cast of RED 2. The actress joins previously announced cast members Bruce Willis, John Malkovich, Mary-Louise Parker and Helen Mirren. The film is a sequel to Summit Entertainment's 2010 thriller.

Dean Parisot (Galaxy Quest) will direct the upcoming film which will be penned by Erich and Jon Hoeber. The movie will be filmed on location in Europe and is scheduled for an August 2, 2013 release.

Zeta-Jones received a Tony Award for her performance in A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC and an Academy Award for "Chicago." She has appeared on the London stage in 42ND STREET and STREET SCENE. Her many film credits include "No Reservations," "The Terminal," "Entrapment," "Traffic" and "The Mask of Zorro." She will soon star in the big screen adaptation of ROCK OF AGES.
