Emily Walton plays the title role of Cynthia. Her Broadway credits include AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY, PETER AND THE STARCATCHER.

The darkly comic musical tells the story of eleven year-old Cynthia Schmidt, who loses her most prized possession: her homemade kite. When she discovers her loss was due to the trickery of her "supposed"friend, she turns to the dark side and unleashes a terrifying new creation. The new musical is not appropriate for children under 14.

The new musical, developed in the BMI-Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop has book and lyrics by Webb Wilcoxen, writer of THE FAIRY TALE PROJECT (Labyrinth Theater/Public Theater) for which he was a recipient of a grant from The Greenwall Foundation.), BILLY SLEEPYHEAD, a sci-fi musical (Developing Artists, NYC); the 5-part serial play PATSY STUFFLEBEAN MEETS THE KENTUCKY DEMON (Vampire Cowboys Theater Co.) He is a member of the LAByrinth Theater Company.

Composer Jonathan Comisar's THINGS AS THEY ARE (on the life of photographer Dorothea Lange), was twice nominated for the Fred Ebb Foundation Award (2009. 2011) and was awarded Best of the Festival Audience Favorite Prize at the New York Musical Theater Festival, 2010.

Wally Dunn TRIP TO BOUNTIFUL(Hangar Theatre), WEST SIDE STORY-National Co); Will Boyajian (TITANIC, HOW I BECAME A PIRATE) Hangar Theatre.
Director Robert Ross Parker is the co-artistic director of the Obie winning Vampire Cowboys with Qui Nguyen. For Vampire Cowboys he has directed Vampire Cowboy Trilogy, A Beginner's Guide to Deicide, Living Dead in Denmark, Men of Steel, Fight Girl/Battle World, Soul Samurai, Alice in Slasherland, and The Inexplicable Redemption of Agent G. He has directed Monsters (The Flea) Goodbye Cruel World (also adapter, Roundtable Ensemble) Hamlet{solo} (Edinburgh Fringe and Solo Nova at PS 122), and numerous projects for Ensemble Studio Theatre where he is a member.

Musical Mondays finishes its 14th season presenting new musicals including Next to Normal under the title of Feeling Electric. MMTL has presented early works of Amanda Green (upcoming Hands on a Hardbody,), Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx (Avenue Q) and the first performances of See Rock City and It Shoulda Been You.

The presentation will be at The Jerry Orbach Theater, Snapple Theater Center, 210 West 50th, West of B'way on Thursday, February 7 at 6:30PM . Single Admission: $18.00. Running time aprox70 minutes.
