Carter Beane, Cohen, and Ashley Team Up For 'Big Time'

Broadway producer Robert Ahrens has announced plans for an original musical BIG TIME with a creative team including Tony nominee Douglas Carter Beane (Book), Doug Cohen (Music and Lyrics) and Christopher Ashley (Director).  BIG TIME will be a musical comedy about two down-on-their-luck lounge singers on a U.N. cruise ship that is held hostage by terrorist's intent on destroying the world. Plans are for a workshop reading in September of 2008 followed by an out of town tryout and a Broadway opening in spring of 2010.
