Teen singing sensation, long-time supporter of Starlight Children's Foundation and Broadway veteran, Carly Rose Sonenclar, will perform at the 28th annual Starlight Children's Foundation NY*NJ*CT gala on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at the Marriot Marquis Hotel in New York City.

The gala will support the mission of the Starlight Children's Foundation, which brightens the lives of seriously ill children and helps them cope with their pain, fear and isolation through entertainment, education and family activities. Starlight helps children and their families through their journey with illness while helping to heal their spirits and restore the happiness that a serious illness takes away.

"Starlight is able to help the children and families who need us most not only as a result of generous donors, but also through incredible volunteers such as Carly Rose who take time out of their busy lives to make children smile," said Elaine Siver, executive director of Starlight Children's Foundation NY*NJ*CT. "We are as enthralled by her beautiful spirit as much as we are her incredible voice and are so grateful for her dedication to Starlight."

In addition to singing "Feeling Good," the song that made her famous on a popular, primetime television singing competition, Carly also will perform a stirring rendition of "Hallelujah" with several Starlight children and their siblings.

"I love working with Starlight," said Carly Rose. "The kids are so inspiring and I feel lucky to be in the position where I have the opportunity to sing with them, my friends, in such a special setting."

The evening, emceed by Rob Powers of WABC-TV, also will include a cocktail reception, lavish dinner and awards presentation. In addition, Carly will be accompanied on the red carpet by special guests Aviva Drescher and Countess Luann from "The Real Housewives of New York." Additionally, the evening will honor top real estate dealmakers David Schonbraun and Adam Spies for their commitment to Starlight.
