Capitol City Opera Company Presents Donna's Birthday Bash!

If you've ever enjoyed an entertaining evening at Dinner and a Diva, an On the Lightside event, or a full-stage production by Capitol City Opera, you're a beneficiary of the vision, creativity, and hard work of our company founder and artistic director emeritus, Donna Angel.

Bonnie Owen LaForge- Board President - Capitol City Opera Company states: "Since starting the company in 1983, Donna's efforts have provided invaluable performance experience to hundreds of aspiring opera singers and introduced the art of opera to thousands of young audience members. What better way to honor her on her 70th birthday than to present an evening of her favorite arias and duets?

On behalf of the Capitol City Opera Board of Directors, I invite you to join us for a birthday celebration honoring Donna at the home of our wildly successful Dinner & a Diva series: Petite Auberge. The evening begins at 6:30 with a cash-bar reception where you'll have an opportunity to greet Donna. The fun continues with a buffet dinner followed by entertainment starting at 7 p.m., and the evening wraps up with a complimentary champagne toast for the guest of honor. Per Donna's wishes, proceeds from the $65 fee benefit Capitol City Opera Company.
