CPCC Announces Their 2010-2011 Season

Central Piedmont Community College announces their season for Fall and Spring 2010-2011.

I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE in Pease Auditorium

October 2nd at 8p.m.

October 3rd at 2:30p.m.

I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE celebrates the mating game and takes on the truths and myths behind that contemporary conundrum know as "the relationship." I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change is a hilarious revue that pays tribute to those who have loved and lost, to those who have fallen on their face at the portal of romance, to those who have dared to ask, "Say, what are you doing Saturday night?"

THE LION IN WINTER in Pease Auditorium

November 5th at 8p.m.

November 6th at 8p.m.

November 7th at 2:30p.m.

November 12th at 8p.m.

November 13th at 8p.m.

November 14, 2:30 p.m.

THE LION IN WINTER tells the story of a king who has three sons. He wants the kingdom to stay united after his death, but all three sons want to rule. The King favors the youngest, while the Queen favors the eldest, the middle son hopes to play both ends against each other and come out on top. Uneasy is the head on which the crown lies, and uneasy the truce between a matchless king and queen.

SWEENY TODD is a musical thriller by Stephen Sondheim. A chilling, suspenseful, heart-pounding masterpiece Sweeny Todd tells the infamous tale of the unjustly exiled barber who returns to 19th century London seeking revenge against the lecherous judge who framed him and ravaged his young wife. His thirst for blood expands to include his unfortunate customers, and the resourceful proprietress of the pie shop downstairs soon has the people of London lining up in droves with her mysterious new meat pie recipe!
