CITIZEN RUTH Hits FringeNYC 8/17-24 For 5 Shows Only
Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company announces that Artistic Director Howard Shalwitz is directing the World Premiere of Citizen Ruth, a new musical based on the film by Alexander Payne and Jim Taylor, as part of the 2009 New York International Fringe Festival.
Woolly Mammoth is not a part of this production, but has been very involved in the development of the piece with the creators since 2008.
David W. Caldwell & Christopher Allen present Citizen Ruth, a new musical. Book/Lyrics by Mark Leydorf, Music by Michael Brennan, directed by Howard Shalwitz. The cast features Garrett Long as Ruth, as well as DC-based actors Zack Colonna, Sherri Edelen & Tara Giordano.
The show runs from August 17 - 24, 5 Shows only.
