CAPITOL STEPS Plays The Paramount Theatre, Opens 10/26

By:

Seattle Theatre Group (STG) presents Capitol Steps returning to The Paramount Theatre on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at 7:30pm. Washington DC's funniest musical political comedians perform songs from their most recent album, "Liberal Shop of Horrors," as well as new material updated to the news of the day.

Liberal Shop of Horrors is Capitol Steps' latest album featuring our Nobel Prize winning president and a cast of thousands. The show pokes fun at all sides of issues - a sample of hot topics covered include: heath care, bailouts, the environment, the budget, partisan politics, unfaithful politicians and the Tea Party.

Capitol Steps began as a group of Senate staffers who set out to satirize the very people and places that once employed them. Capitol Steps have recorded 30 albums and have been featured on NBC, CBS, ABC, PBS and can be heard four times a year on National Public Radio during their "Politics Takes a Holiday" radio specials.

Tickets: Tickets are available on Friday, September 17th and are $32.00 - $65.00. Purchase tickets online at www.stgpresents.org, by phone at (877) 784-4849, in person at The Paramount Theatre box office, Monday through Friday 10:00am-6:00pm and The Paramount and Moore Theatre venue kiosks, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week, powered by Tickets.com.
