BTP PRESENTS ... THE BTP FESTIVAL

The July 2009 session culminates in an exciting new festival that will take place at the University of South Florida from July 30 - August 1. For the first time, parents of the apprentices from the Tampa Bay area will be able to witness and participate in the diverse range of musical theatre arts topics that are taught at BTP in a more intimate environment where the actual teaching takes place.

The festival will include performances by the faculty and students, as well as seminars by faculty members including Jed Bernstein and Dave Clemmons. Workshops taking place during the project will also be featured including directors such as Frank Wildhorn, David Loud and Christopher d'Amboise.

The students will be divided into two groups - pre-college and pre-professional - and there will be a show for each class.

Each cast will perform on Friday, July 31 and Saturday, August 1 nights starting at 7.30 pm and the workshop performances will be on Friday and Saturday at 4.00 pm. Varying ticket price options, including a complete festival package, can be purchased through Ticketmaster. Classes and discussions are free for the families of the apprentices.
