'Broadway Talks' at 92Y Hosts Schreiber, Lane, Linney & Hayes this Spring

92nd Street Y and Jujamcyn Theaters will present a series of conversations entitled "Broadway Talks," featuring some of today's biggest Broadway stars, throughout the spring. The talks will be held as one-on-one conversations with Jujamcyn President, Jordan Roth, and will take place on four separate occasions from March to May. Currently scheduled for talks are Liev Schrieber, Nathan Lane, Laura Linney, and Sean Hayes.

The discussion series will begin on March 1st with Schrieber, star of A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE. The talks will continue on March 28th with TIME STANDS STILL star Laura Linney, May 23rd with THE ADDAMS FAMILY star Nathan Lane, and, finally, on May 24th with PROMISES PROMISES star Sean Hayes.

Conversations with Schreiber, Linney, and Lane will take place at Lexington Avenue at 92nd Street and the Hayes converstaion will take place at 92YTribeca.

"Broadway is such a major force in New York City's cultural landscape and we are thrilled to have Jordan Roth headline this series of conversations on our stage," said Susan Engel, Lectures Director at the 92nd Street Y, the cultural and community center known for its wide-ranging talks and dialogues with the world's most important artists, thinkers and leaders. "Jordan Roth is the perfect person for this series because of his passion and insightfulness. He truly represents ‘the new Broadway.'"

Sean Hayes made his New York stage debut in DAMN YANKEES at City Center Encores. His films include The Bucket List, Pieces of April, The cat in the Hat (as the voice of the Fish), Billy's Hollywood Screen Kiss, and Cats and Dogs (as the voice of Mr. Tinkles). He has won four Screen Actors Guild Awards, a TV Guide Award and an American Comedy Award. Hayes won an Emmy (and was nominated six times) for his portrayal of Jack on Will & Grace. He starred as Jerry Lewis in the television movie "Martin & Lewis."

Honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and recently inducted into the Theater Hall of Fame. This spring Lane will star as ‘Gomez Addams' in the world premiere musical The Addams Family.

Laura Linney made her off-Broadway debut at MTC during the 1991-1992 season in John Patrick Shanley's Beggars in the House of Plenty. That same season she created the role of "Grete" in MTC's premiere of Margulies' Sight Unseen. Twelve years later, Lynne Meadow asked her to play the lead role of "Patricia" in the MTC Broadway Revival of Sight Unseen, directed by Daniel Sullivan, for which she received a Tony nomination. Linney has a special relationship with Donald Margulies, MTC and Daniel Sullivan.
