Broadway for Hillary to Hold First Phone Bank for Clinton Campaign

BROADWAY FOR HILLARY has just announced Broadway Calls for Clinton, the organization's first action day of phone banking for the Clinton campaign.

Broadway's brightest will come together for this volunteer organized event on Sunday, September 18, 2016 from 3pm to 9pm for a day of voter outreach in support of Hillary Clinton, the Democratic nominee for president.

The Host Committee for Broadway Calls for Clinton includes Gavin Creel (She Loves Me, The Book of Mormon), Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Modern Family, Fully Committed), Andrew Keenan-Bolger (Tuck Everlasting), Celia Keenan-Bolger (The Glass Menagerie), Telly Leung (Allegiance, Godspell), Andrew Lippa (The Wild Party, Big Fish), the American Foundation of Equal Rights' Justin Mikita, Jeanine Tesori (Fun Home, Violet) and Adrienne Warren (Shuffle Along).

"The Broadway community is an influential industry that, at its core, stands for inclusive principles - among them equality, artistic expression, and celebrating the diversity of others," said the team at Broadway for Hillary. "We feel that Hillary Clinton and her campaign's values mirror these ideals and felt it vital to bring together those working in the industry - both onstage and off - for a day of volunteering on behalf of the campaign."

The goal of Broadway Calls for Clinton is to create awareness of the importance of calling, and to highlight the amazing tool that the Clinton campaign has launched to make calling from anywhere easy. In addition to calling those on the campaign's list, the event will consist of training and education from campaign staff about further steps that can be taken, both as a group and individually, to raise awareness and highlight ways for those at home to help the campaign.

Broadway Calls for Clinton is organized by RIan Patrick Durham, Sally Cade Holmes, and Robb Nanus.
