According to published reports, Broadway veteran Bonnie Lynn Fields passed away on Saturday, November 17 from cancer. She was 68 years old.
Born Bonita Lynn Fields in Walterboro, South Carolina, she moved to Richmond, Indiana when she was still a baby. In 1957, she joined the cast of 'The Mickey Mouse Club' as a replacement in the third season.
In the 1960's she starred in several Broadway productions, including: Kelly and Half a Sixpence. Additionally, she was dancer in the film versions of Funny Girl, Sweet Charity, and Bye Bye Birdie.
