And a Happy Birthday shout-out to Michael Feinstein, who turns 60 today!
Feinstein, whose moniker now graces supper club 54 Below in New York City and its counterpart in San Francisco, last starred on Broadway in ALL ABOUT ME, which he wrote. Before that, he appeared in concert twice, once in 'ISN'T IT ROMANTIC' and later in 'PIANO AND VOICE'. For his dedication to the Great American Songbook, Feinstein received a Special Drama Desk Award in 1988. Feinstein is also a multi-platinum-selling, five-time Grammy-nominated recording artist. He also works as the conductor for the Pasadena POPS and as Artistic Director of The Center for the Performing Arts in Carmel, Indiana.
