And a Happy Birthday shout-out to Tim Minchin, who turns 41 today!
Minchin is the composer and lyricist behind GROUNDHOG DAY and MATILDA THE MUSICAL on Broadway, in the West End and on tour. He also starred as 'Judas' in the JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR UK arena tour. Raised in Perth, Australia, Minchin is best known for his musical comedy and has released six CDs, five DVDs and performed in concert internationally. He rose to fame with his show DARKSIDE and went on to appear in Showtime's CALIFORNICATION. UWA and Mountview Academy have both awarded Minchin an honorary doctorate.
